Progressive Evangelicals Criticism of Abortion Only Voters

Why it is hard to take certain social progressive Evangelical leaders seriously when they say "Abortion is not the only issue we should be fighting for and be fixated about as Christians. What about poverty, trafficking, police brutality, etc."?

I agree with progressives Yahweh is concerned about everything they mention including personal, familial and sexual vices like lust, greed, pride, drunkenness, homosexuality, adultery, divorce, lying, etc.

But, when they make the above argument, it is usually in contrast to the Republican Party and candidates like Donald Trump that conservative right-wing abortion hating Evangelicals vote for.

They do this to encourage support for even worse anti-Christian moral candidates like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama who were openly hostile in their platforms viewpoints and policies to almost every virtue propagated in Scripture. They consider many of those universal Biblical principles as being too primitive for modern society.

Candidates with political/economic philosophies that for the last 55-60 years have exasperated the plight of the poor working class and Black/Brown inner-cities.

For example, Pastor Thabiti Anyabwile wrote for The Gospel Coalition,

“the folks who can only talk about abortion and can’t factor anything else into their decisions are guilty of another form of idolatry. Some make a tremendously important moral issue a ‘god’ of sorts. Further, some make their conscience an idol by obeying their conscience instead of the whole counsel of God.”

If they were serious about the systemic economic/social change, they would be encouraging Evangelicals to become politically independent and to consider 3rd party candidates, or parties that better reflect their progressive Evangelical social views well as their hatred of abortion as many of them passively espouse.

They would be honest that the democratic party platform and not the average democrat voter have been hostile to most Christian virtues presented through public policy (i.e., homeschooling, sexual control, school voucher choice, anti-divorce laws, parental disciplinary rights, creationism, pre-born rights, sustainable living wage skilled labor, etc.)

Many of them don't propagate the third way or become honest in their assessment of the democratic hostility towards Biblical worldview.
They become what they hate in conservative Evangelicals who endorse Republicans/Trump types without any criticism of their sins.

True prophets are independent of all human institutions and cultures and usually find fault in all things constructed by man. Why? Man is sinful.

If they cannot do this, it is because they are not true prophets who scrutinize culture and human institutions in light of God's Word but rather are committed to internal or cultural biases themselves.

How serious can we take this growing movement of progressive social dissent within evangelical circles?
Take it seriously because it has the power of the world's philosophy behind it and its venom has already poisoned the well of American Evangelicalism.

Evangelicals need to be critical of all political parties, but also honest about what groups are more anti-Christian or friendly to their ambitions.

That takes real courage, discernment, and transcendence from a person's own culture and economic allegiances.

Follow Christ and make decisions with His discernment! Maybe you have been wrong in your criticism of Pro-Life Evangelicals the way people misjudged the Radical Republicans (White Abolitionists Evangelicals) who tolerated the racism of the Northern Moderate Republicans to vote in a president like Lincoln and put pressure on him to fight a civil war that would emancipate African American slaves.
