Impact Family Church believes according to Jesus' teachings in the New Testament God's original and perfect design for marriage and sex is between a male and female in a monogamous covenant agreement (Matthew 5:27-30, Matthew 19:1-11).
We believe homosexuality is a sexual orientation and lifestyle outside of God's perfect design like all other sins (Romans 1:26-27, Romans 12:2).
We believe Jesus Christ can and wills to bring forgiveness and freedom from sins power, so homosexuals like all other sinners can manage, or control their particular sin by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16-25).
This freedom does not eradicate their sinful tendency, but gives the new believer a choice to be a slave of righteousness, rather then a slave to their sinful nature (Romans 6:11-14, Galatians 5:16-25).
As a result of serving the Living God in holiness they can be assured of their eternal salvation which is received by a genuine faith that leads to obedience of scripture (Romans 1:5, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
